Village Open Day – Cyber Crime and Seniors Online Safety

Join us for our “Village Open Day” being held on Sunday, 15 April 2018 from 10:30am onwards with a focus on senior online cyber safety.

Guest speaker Marlene from COTA will be attending to discuss cyber-crime preventative measures and seniors’ safety online. With the Internet being one of the best resources available to us. Unfortunately, it’s also extremely risky if you aren’t aware of who and what lurks behind the scenes. Everyone should know the safe and responsible use of information, communication technology and learn to maximise your knowledge against security risks of private information including telephone and email scams

In addition, village tours will be on offer and a lunch to socialize with like-minded and friendly neighbours.
